Food for Thoughts
Food for Thought is a two-piece dessert painting series challenging society’s reliance on appearances over critical thinking. Left painting features eyeballs in red jelly and a brain atop a pudding—deceptively sweet yet unsettling. The dominant red hints at blood, exposing the danger of blind acceptance and societal stereotypes. Similarly, a brain-shaped chocolate is pinned with a fork, while others remain boxed, emphasizing the struggle for independent thought. The eerie mix of sweets and body parts sparks tension, urging deeper reflection.
